MTI as the local partner firm for the DRMIS Project

The MTI team attended the first project meeting of the DRMIS Project held at the Robredo Hall of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) last June 8, 2017. Mapua Techserv was invited by e-GenConsultants, Co. , an international firm that was awarded the DRMIS project by the DILG, to be its local partner firm in the Philippines for the said project. By handling all the local experts for this national project, this DILG project will bring to MTI a P30M account which is about one-third of the total project cost.

Techserv Participates in the ADB Business Fair

MTI attended the ADB Business Fair last March 22-23, 2017 This fair was attended by 500 participants from different countries in Asia, the USA and Europe.

Multi-Stakeholder Action for Reform

MTI Executive Director, Yolanda C. Velez was one of the 30 participants who attended the “Multi-Stakeholder Action for Reform” Workshop conducted by the Governance Thematic Group of ADB headed by Mr. Ramesh Subramaniam. The group was a mix of ADB officers, LGUs, government agencies and private firms. This was a 3-day workshop held at the ADB headquarters last January 27-29, 2015.

Asia Water Week

MTI participates in the 3-day conference at the ADB during its Asia Water Week . The conference attended by international water and sanitation experts from Europe and Asia was held last March 13-15, 2013 at the ADB Headquarters in the Ortigas Business District, City of Mandaluyong.

Stakeholders Workshop on Renewable Energy in the Philippines: Financial Flows and Barriers

The Executive Director, Yolanda C. Velez attended this workshop organized by the Climate Change Commission in partnership with the USAID. The workshop was held at the Makati Shangrila Hotel in Makati City last April 5, 2013.

Stakeholders Workshop on Energy Data Assessment

This workshop is a second part of the activities lined up by the USAID together with the Climate Change Commission and DOE. It was held last April 10, 2013 at the Dusit Hotel in Makati.

Oviedo Chamber of Commerce Partners with MIT/Mapúa Techserv

Luis Antonio Mañeru in his capacity as the Philippine contact of the Oviedo Chamber of Commerce in Spain communicated recently its plan to renew its a team-up with the Mapúa Institute of Technology thru Techserv on a project for an EU grant under its SWITCH programme in Asia.

The aim of SWITCH Asia is to promote sustainable consumption and production (SCP) in the region by working simultaneously with producers and consumers on the ground and at the level of policy-making by supporting the formulation and implementation of SCP-related policies.

Another partner institution of the Chamber are the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP). The project proposal is due for submission to the EU by March 23, 2012.
